What type of certification will I receive upon completing the 700 hour Massage Therapy Program?
You will receive a Diploma upon completion of the massage therapy program.
Do I need a license to practice massage?
The state of Pennsylvania requires every practicing massage therapist to have a current valid state massage therapy license. PSMB will help students meet the requirements needed to obtain state licensure. Our curriculum offers students the education they need to pass either the MBLEx or the NCETMB exams and we will also offer students guidance through the rest of the process.
Please be aware that any PA state licensed massage therapist that works or moves out of state will then be required to follow the laws of the state in which they are practicing.
What different types of places will I be able to work?
You will be prepared to work in a variety of environments such as chiropractor’s offices, spas, wellness centers and your own private practice.
Is your massage therapy program flexible?
A full time day and part time evening and weekend program are offered to fit your schedule. The day time program is Tuesday through Friday and the evening program is Tuesday through Thursday and every other Saturday.
Do you offer financial aid?
At this time we don’t offer federal financial aid however we do offer an interest free payment plan for those who qualify. Here at PSMB we understand that it’s important to know that you can fund your tuition so we have compiled some helpful information for students that need assistance in finding easy and alternative routes to obtain finances.
PSMB can’t promise job placement but we can help you through the process. Because of our years of experience in the field we know exactly what you need to do and will help you reach your employment goals.
