A: You will receive a diploma upon completion of the massage therapy program.
A: The state of Pennsylvania requires every practicing massage therapist to have a current valid state massage therapy license. Psmb will help students meet the requirements needed to obtain state licensure. Our curriculum offers students the education they need to pass either the mblex or the ncetmb exams and we will also offer students guidance through the rest of the process.
***Please be aware that any pa state licensed massage therapist that works or moves out of state will then be required to follow the laws of the state in which they are practicing.
A: You will be prepared to work in a variety of environments such as chiropractor’s offices, spas, wellness centers and your own private practice.
A: Day and evening programs are offered to fit your schedule. Day classes run Monday through Thursday (10am-3pm) and the evening program is Monday through Thursday (6pm-10pm).
A: At this time we don’t offer federal financial aid however we do offer an interest free payment plan for those who qualify.
A: Psmb can’t promise job placement but we can help you through the process. Because of our years of experience in the field we know exactly what you need to do and will help you reach your employment goals.

A: Yes! We are happy to say that PSMB is approved by Veterans Affairs to receive those who would like to employ their GI Bill tuition benefits.

- Job Outlook – Per the US Department of Labor and Statistics, the field of massage therapy is set to increase by 18% which is much faster than other occupations. The demand for massage therapists is projected to increase as more people add massage to their health protocols.

- In 2023, PSMB’s MBLEx first attempt pass rate was 93.3% and the repeat exam attempt was 0%. Thus far, in 2024 PSMB’s MBLEx first attempt pass rate is 91% and repeat exam attempt is 0%.
- In 2023, Pennsylvania’s MBLEx first attempt pass rate was 77.1% and the repeat exam attempt rate was 32.5%. The pass rates for 2024 are not yet available.
A: Yes, there are some additional fees. They are:
- 3 sets of Twin Size Sheets : $60
- Massage Table: $ 250
- Massage Cream or Oil: $25
- MBLEx (licensing exam): $265
- Initial licensing fee: $100
- Background check: $22+
- Total: $722 (approximately)
