I. Career Placement
(A) Program Curriculum:
The program includes Business classes where you will set career goals.
(B) Placement Services:
The School does not guarantee employment however our staff will extend their best effort to assist you in our staff’s reasonable discretion. This may, but need not necessarily, include advisement, career counseling, and making available all job postings and solicitations we receive from prospective employers.
II. REFUNDS FOR EARLY CANCELLATION OR REJECTION
A. In accordance with PA code 73.133, any applicant rejected by the school is entitled to a refund of monies paid.

If you verbally cancel this Agreement within five (5) calendar days, you have an additional five (5) days to cancel.
The School will then, within thirty (30) days, refund any paid tuition and the Application Fee.
(B) Five (5) or more days after agreement signing:
If you cancel this Agreement more than five (5) calendar days after the day on which you signed it (but prior to the Program Start Date or if you never actually attended the class) the School will, within thirty (30) days, refund any paid Tuition and Application Fee.
(C) Illness and Military Service:
If prior to the Program Start Date, you are forced to cancel this Agreement because of personal illness or incapacity attested by a competent medical authority with accompanying written corroboration from said medical authority, or because you have been activated or inducted into full-time military service, the School will, within thirty (30) days thereafter refund any paid Tuition and Application Fee.
III. REFUNDS FOR WITHDRAWAL OR DISMISSAL AFTER PROGRAM START
(A) Your Right to Cancel:
This policy is for those who withdraw from the Program or course after the Program Start Date and more than five (5) calendar days after the signing of this Agreement, but prior to the completion of the Program. You will, within thirty (30) days of their last recorded day of attendance receive a partial refund of the Tuition paid as described in paragraph C below. The School bases the refund due to the student on the student’s last recorded day of attendance.
(B) Dismissal:
The School reserved the right to dismiss students if they are in violation of the School’s Student Catalog, including, but not limited to its Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy, Standards of Conduct, Satisfactory Attendance, and/or non-payments of tuition and fees. Such dismissal shall be effective as of the date you receive notice from the School. Within thirty (30) days after dismissal, you will receive a partial refund of the Tuition as described in paragraph C below.
(C) Refunds:
The Tuition refunds to which you are entitled as a result of withdrawal or dismissal are governed by the Regulations of the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools Title 22 Education, Part III State Board of Private Licensed Schools, Chapter 73 General Provisions and are listed as follows:
(D) Leave of Absence:
A leave of absence may be granted in the sole discretion of the Director and in accordance with the School’s Student Catalog is permitted when the student encounters a serious obstacle or problem, such as illness or death in the family, temporarily preventing continuation of the program. Leaves of absence must be requested in writing and may not exceed 180 days within any 12-month period. The student may re-enter at the appropriate place with the next class unless other arrangements have been made with the Director.
IV. PRO RATA REFUND
In the event that a veteran fails to enter, withdraws or is discontinued from the program at any time prior to completion, the amount charged to the veteran
does not exceed the approximate pro rata portion of the total charges for tuition, fees and other charges that the length of the completed portion of the program bears to its total length.
Pro rata refund is based on the daily cost of attendance. After a VA student withdraws from the program, the remaining length of the program that has not been attended will be refunded. The date of the refunded amount will begin on the date the Directors receive written notification from the student of their withdrawal or the final day that they attend class.
The cost per diem for the Day program is $83.33 and for the Evening Program is $66.66.
** For illustrative purposes only: (1) PSMB’s Day Program is 120 days long. If a student attending that class withdraws from the Program on day 100, they would receive $1,666.60; and (2) PSMB’s Evening Program is 150 days long. If a student withdraws from that Program on day 100, they would receive $ 3,332.00.

VI. CONDITIONAL ITEMS
(A) Philadelphia School of Massage and Bodywork may cancel a class, Program or course, AND/OR adjust start dates due to insufficient enrollment or other reasons in the reasonable discretion of the School. In such an instance, upon written notice the student shall be entitled to a refund of tuition actually paid directly toward the impacted course(s) only; no refund of any tuition paid toward (an)other unaffected course(s) for which the student received credits shall be granted. The student may request in writing that the tuition actually paid toward the impacted course(s) be applied to the next scheduled starting date of the impacted course (or (an)other course(s), with the agreement of the School). Notwithstanding, books, supplies, tools, and lab fees are non-refundable and/or returnable.
(B) The School reserves the right to change equipment, staff, or materials as it deems necessary. Such changes may be necessary to keep pace with technological advances and to improve teaching methods or procedures.
VII. REQUIRED LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE FOR GRADUATION
